Well its final, ive gotten back the results for application on leave.
And after dragging for so damn long,
Its a no.
Reason is the same as when they rejected Joyce and the Boys.
No supporting government body and not enough sense of National good.
So i wont be able to head to battlegrounds 09 after all.
They rejected Jiajun’s application too.
So that means that “If You’re Happy and you know it Clap your Hands!” are only going as a 5 men crew.
Well, im not angry. and im not as sad as i thought i would be.
the whole thing has been going on for so long now and i think our whole crew is just too mentally and physically tired to feel the way we should.
i actually feel a little relieved somehow. just a little.
i just wanted to get an answer as this has been dragging for so long.
but too bad in the end. that answer was a No.
im just too tired to really care and cry and vent my anger and everything.
Its still fucked up but sadly we dont have a choice. thats that.
Hopefully i get such a chance again.
They who denied our application, i know you are going home after your job. living your lives as per normal without a fucking care on what is happening.
but i do hope you know that you caused 2 guys a chance of a lifetime that they might NOT ever get again.
go on and continue your fucking jobs because end of the day what happened to us. doesnt really concerns you. and thats just reality.
Its so ironic.. to us dancers its a dream, to you guys its just a regular job. following book by book on all your fucking policies and guidelines. you are doing your job, we are doing our job. yet it doesnt go the same way.
Singapore’s dance scene is really treated like thrash.
i hope it changes for the better for the newer generation of singapore dancers.
i think Singapore really needs it.

Ronnie you’re the leader now.. i hope you can coordinate the group. which i know you can. please do whatever it takes to keep the morale going, to keep the productivity going. to keep how we should be going. going. make sure everyone keeps their head high man.
Guys dont waste this chance.
I know you guys are demoralized.we all feel it as a group. but this kind of things we cant help it. since we got this chance. please make full use of it and not regret after.
We might not get this ever again, do not slack off and just carry a demoralized heart every single day, i know its hard because we all went through the same thing when jiajun could not make it for the finals. But we did it in the end. we came out stronger and we seriously did it man. we won it and we are given this chance of representing Singapore in Battlegrounds 09. that is really something we should not be wasting with our beaten down hearts man.
Please come out stronger this time as well. i know you guys are tired over all the shit we’ve been through. but since now the 5 of you are holding on to that golden chance. DONT WASTE IT. GO ALL OUT and do Singapore proud. Do ourselves proud. Do your families proud. Do your friends proud. Do NRA proud.
Prove to the world that Singapore is coming up.
Slowly by slowly maybe our government will see, that dance maybe really isnt such a bad thing. maybe they will slowly see that we are indeed growing significantly in the big scene out there.
and maybe things will get better.
What im asking as your good friend,as a team member and as a leader is for you guys to not give up please. i know you guys wont. and i know you guys will be stronger.
Because we are the 7 bastards that love dance so much.
We are the naughty kids of Nra. We are the slackers who laugh and joke like crazy in almost every trainings and then feel demoralised together when we only cleaned a few counts in the end.
and because we are who we are.
just like how we made 6 stronger than 7 people.
Now its you guys turn to make 5 stronger than 7.

8 more months and i will be a free man.. no longer bounded by all this fucked up things that is binding down what i love at times.
But Ive learnt to see things at a wider angle.
I know i cant have everything in the world and i am very contented with my life.
i found an amazing thing called dance, ive had such amazing experiences and im sure more will be coming. i hope.
ive been to vietnam and vegas just because of doing what i love and that was such a damn amazing experience that i would have never dreamt of. i have such beautiful and talented friends. i have the best mum in the world. and the best best best girlfriend one can ever ask for. Im in such a beautiful dance club. and so many freaking other things that im blessed with.
Im contented and i cant ask for more
I will come back out as a stronger person and as a stronger dancer im sure of it.
